Operator Standards

We partner exclusively with operators who meet rigorous safety and regulatory requirements.
FAA Part 135 Certification
Every operator on our platform holds a current FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate, the federal standard for commercial on-demand air transportation. We verify certification status before onboarding and monitor it continuously.
Third-Party Safety Audits
We require operators to hold current safety ratings from recognized auditing organizations such as ARG/US (Aviation Research Group) or Wyvern. These independent audits evaluate maintenance programs, pilot training, operational procedures, and safety management systems.
Insurance Verification
All operators must carry comprehensive liability insurance that meets or exceeds industry standards. We verify insurance coverage as part of our onboarding process and require operators to maintain coverage throughout their partnership with SkyReserve.

ARG/US Platinum
The highest safety rating awarded by the Aviation Research Group. Our partner operators maintain Platinum or Gold-level ratings — covering pilot experience, maintenance programs, and operational safety systems.
Wyvern Wingman
Wyvern's Wingman designation is the gold standard for operator safety audits. Only operators with comprehensive safety management systems, rigorous training programs, and clean safety records qualify.
FAA Diamond Award
Recognition for maintenance technicians who complete advanced training beyond FAA requirements. Our network operators collectively hold consecutive Diamond Awards — a testament to maintenance excellence.
IS-BAO Stage III
The International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations, Stage III — the highest level of the IBAC safety audit. Operators at this stage have demonstrated a mature, proactive safety management system.
Pilot Standards
Experienced crews, every flight.
The pilots flying your charter are held to the highest professional standards:
- Type-rated and current: All pilots are type-rated for the specific aircraft they fly and maintain current proficiency checks
- Minimum experience requirements: We require captains to have significant total flight time and experience in the aircraft type
- Recurrent training: Pilots complete regular simulator-based recurrent training programs that go beyond FAA minimums
- Rest compliance: Operators must demonstrate strict adherence to FAA duty time and rest requirements to prevent fatigue-related incidents
Aircraft Standards
Maintained beyond requirements.
Every aircraft listed on SkyReserve is subject to:
- Manufacturer maintenance programs: Adherence to the aircraft manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule, including inspections, component replacements, and service bulletins
- Regular inspections: Compliance with all FAA-required inspections (100-hour, annual, progressive) and operator-specific inspection programs
- Age and condition monitoring: We track fleet age and maintenance status to ensure aircraft meet our quality standards
- Pre-flight checks: Standard pre-flight inspections are performed before every departure
Co-Flyer Safety
Shared flights, verified travelers.
Our co-flyer matching program includes additional safety measures to protect all participants:
- Identity verification: All co-flyer participants verify their identity before being matched
- Mutual opt-in: Both parties must agree to a shared flight — matching is never automatic or mandatory
- Profile transparency: Travelers can review co-flyer profiles including travel preferences and ratings before accepting a match
- Reporting system: A confidential reporting system is available for any safety concerns related to co-flyer experiences

- Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
- Payment security: Financial transactions are processed through PCI DSS-compliant payment partners — we never store full payment card details
- Access controls: Strict internal access controls limit who can view sensitive customer information
